...same type of interface as Urban Dead, but a lot more as a game. It has Magic, Angels, Demons, Elementalists, etc and is pretty awesome. I've been playing it since the creator (Jorm, who I met from being in the UD RRF Zombie Horde.) let a group of us start testing it, and it's grown into something pretty awesome.

No probs. I'm still heading to level 10 but haven't quite reached it yet. For those wondering why this isn't just another UD, well when you choose a class at tier 2, you're locked into it and can't choose skills from any of the other classes. The different types you can choose from are here (with links to skill charts for each one.) :

Classes

There's already 6000+ characters in it at the moment, and it's gone from a few people testing the game online at a time to having about 150 online at the moment, so it's growing fast and looking like something really good. The creator of the game is well in touch with the community aswell, (he hangs out in chat with us, and posts on the forums.) so he's not as distanced from any problems the players have as the maker of UD is, and changes are being made all the time to make the game better, so it should be brilliant soon. Especially when people start hitting tier 2 and the Angels, Demons, Elementalists, etc are battling all over the place with magic.

There's also a heavenly (paradise) and a hell (stygia) realm that can be accesed by visiting certain areas, so whatever battles do happen will probably spread into other realms once people have the right protection to visit them.

For anyone playing this and wondering why the game is going down daily at the moment : jorm said that the userbase has tripled in the past week.

This is obviously causing server problems, but hopefully something will be sorted out soon.

Good fun. Simplist and the extended downtimes, because it's in beta, are a little confusing but nice to play at work.

All three of my characters have hit tier two. Yay.

Daedalus is a martial-arts engineer/Sorceror with the Ridleytown Resistance Front who's aiming for Lichdom. Got a couple of spells but mainly relies on his fists. He's helping in the fight against the tyranny of Angels and Demons.

Christopher Guest, an unaffliated Myrmidon, is wandering Purgatorio hunting for prey, blood encrusted axe in hand.

Holly, my Paladin with the Faithful, is based in Paradise. Splits her time between tending the Infusion Garden and preaching to the sinful with a Bible and a rifle.

I'm having fun. It is all about the factions, the bonuses make it much easier to progress. I've only been on the receiving end of raids up till now, but that'll change soon.
Shame there are mainly silent assassins and so little roleplaying.

I've also been playing Nexus War since Alpha (used to roll with Jorm back in UD days). It's a completely amazing game, totally puts UD to shame.

I've got an alt in the RRF, Promethea, and I head the EOG with Jack Deck.

What name do you go by Fianna? I've probably seen you around the nexuswar forums... Lord knows I spend too much time there.

Yeah I've been playing this a lot too. Got six characters. Jorm has done wonders, as the joke goes he's the Anti-Kevan, constantly bringing new content.

No, I think Kevan is the Anti-Jorm, as in, Jorm is Jesus, and Kevan is Satan... No, maybe that's a bit too harsh on old Kevan.

But yeah, it's good to see Jorm keeping in touch with the community. And as for new content, I'm practically drooling about the upcoming Dragon Update...

Yeah the Dragon is sure to get some assaults shortly and it should be great seeing that happen/being part of one or more attempts to take it down, and the upcoming addition of cults that just got announced yesterday is sure to make this game go way beyond the coolness it already was.
