Otherwise, no luck I'm afraid. It looks like it might be OOP, I tried having a look round a few Torrent sites and they don't list it either, just an old episode of DS9 with the same title.

The fifty quid limit is fairly optimistic if amazon starts the bidding at 99 for used copies. Short of downloading it illegally I would say you're going to have a hard time finding a copy.

Torrent spy mentions 'E Elias Merhiges BEGOTTEN' and 'Begotten.1991.by.elias.merhige.avi', but they doesn't look too healthy. Perhaps try the p2p networks?
