To Barbelith / Members,
I wish to thank Barbelith, Administration and Moderation for the wonderful opportunity, for a Novice such as myself, to join with Barbelith as part of an ongoing expansion of rationale and democratic balance as opposed to the limited rule of power elsewhere that invites abuse.
I look forward to increased opportunity for learning the Barbelith Way and hope that I, in some small way, am able to contribute to human wellbeing through my Membership with Barbelith.
I am currently facing the end of a long journey spanning many years, in which I have been pursuant of academic - and more recently - PostGraduate, goals, which will also, hopefully, assist my presence here, if need be. However, as I pointed out, I am but a Novice in the widening of borders and boundaries, the collapse or blurr of which will assist us all in embracing the Other, that is usually marked by the control of exclusivity amongst Moderators that evokes an oft intentionally emotive response from some who donot understand the need for moderation outcomes.
I would offer up the realization for other new Members to come, by simply stating that it is vital to read and understand the FAQ located at the Main Page, since this will set one straight from the beginning.
