So, here's the thing. Going through a notebook of mine, I came across a page of text. It's written in my own handwriting, but I don't remember writing it, and the style is different from how I usually write.
Therefore, I'm thinking it's something I wrote off from some other source, but I have no idea where. Could you take a moment and see if you remember this from somewhere. Any clue is appreciated.

"Rebellion that is content only with political radicalism is missing a large part of the picture. Any true radicalism has to extend itself to the way that reality itself is constructed.
"Rebellion has to take itself all the way to the scheme of manifestation itself, to the writing on the walls of eternity. Anything else is missing the forest for the trees."

It's coming to me... hang on... yes, I've got it now... it was written by that famous guy, what's his name, oh yeah:

Douch E. McTwattlefuck

Wasn’t it Richard M. Ickreality-Tunnel?

Allow me to clarify. Any serious suggestions will be appreciated.

Shame on you people.

This is quite clearly the work of self-styled "reality terrorist" Amanda Huggenkiss. Ask for her at your local library, LykeX.

It's obviously original thought, LykeX. Written while at the mercy of a mind-expanding cocktail of Gaymer's Cider, blue Smarties and the Manic Street Preachers.

Hey, I'm not asking you to like it (and I frely admit that it's a bit high-flying). I just want to know where the hell I found it.

I didn´t find anything on the internet. It sounds like something Hakim Bey would write.

On his rough book. In CDT.

That's what I thought, but I've searched for it and found nothing.

Maybe he had all traces of evidence expunged from the historical record.

Maybe he wrote it in a parallel dimension and then whispered it through a crack....

... in the Bleed.

LykeX - doesn't ring a bell with me (though I agree Hakim Bey sounds likely). Do you have any clues at all as to what the source might be? Do you know who you were reading at the time?

I have great sympathy with you as I spent four hours in the university library trying to track down the page number in Politics of Friendship for a passage which turned out to be a paraphrase by me and not a quote at all, so I had to delete a long paragraph of close-reading of its genius phraseology from my dissertation.

Well, that's the problem. The entry isn't dated and I don't remember writing it at all, so I have no idea when it was. It is right after an entry from late November, so I assume it's from around that time (December/January maybe).
I'm going over my bookshelf to see if anything jumps out at me.

Dude. You know what's going to jump out at you. The parallel-universe you. From the bleed. He's writing in your notebook and he's starting to covet your life.

Can we read it? I'd love to hear your close reading of your own text, that's really funny- will you PM it to me?

Reminds me of the rumour about Steven Tyler hearing a song on the radio, and asking Joe Perry: "Whoah, Steve, that sounds nice. Who is that band, we should use that riff for our new album?!" "That´s us, you dumbfuck!"

You could totally read it, Quantum, except I seem to have deleted that version of the chapter (presumably in case I got confused and reinstated it) - sorry!

And yeah, it was very like that Steven Tyler moment. Except that Steven Tyler hadn't borrowed someone's library card to get his girlfriend into the library to double-check the whole 400pp of a book to find the quote, before looking on his own hard drive to find it in an old version of the song. Or, in this case, chapter.

"scheme of manifestation" is a strange phrase; when combined with "rebellion," it returns only one result: this Rosicrucian text.

I'm pretty sure it's a paraphrase of Hakim Bey -- without the "rebellion," the returns include lots of Western occultism (Theosophy, mainly) and a couple hadith (Islamic commentary) pages.

Well, no definite answers came up, but I appreciate the help. I've gone through everything I have, but no luck.
I guess I'll just keep an eye out for it and see if it shows up. Thanks for your time, guys. Give yourself a hug from me.
