Very cool --- yet another instance of the DNA strand/spiral image showing up in nature. I thought the picture was amazing.

And sorry to ruin your bubble, that's not a DNA strand type of shape.It's actually a circle seen from the side. Kind of like an uneven flapjack seen from the side.
