Well, the debut album is out today, and I must say I like.
It has the traditional White Stripes feel to it, but it's a bit more polished. Rather than the usual two person garage band formula, this has the benefit of an actual backing band and what sounds like some decent studio work.
"Steady as She Goes", the main single, is definitely the best track on the album, and the video is fantastic. If anything, I will always love this band for pioneering Southern/Indie/Johnny Depp Clone fashion. My only complaint is that there weren't enough songs as catchy and hard as "Steady as She Goes". |
