I liked the show when I was a kid although sometimes the episodes were a little too bleak. Wasn't there an episode where Danger Mouse was stranded in space and they used the theme music from 2001 Space Odyssey?

Between DM and Bananaman, I'd have to say that British cartoons from the 80s were totally fucked up. Somewhat scarring, but mostly enjoyable.

Ohhhhhhhh, now I get it. You have to understand I always watched Danger Mouse translated into Portuguese, and although Danger Mouse kept his original English name, his assitant didn't (I don't remember his translated name either). So, I never got the Penfold joke either. Until... righ.... now!
