The two-parts rumor is looking official.
"It was born out of purely creative reasons," producer David Heyman told the Times.
"Also, these movies make MAD FUCKING CASH! Can you blame a guy for wanting to go back to the well one more time?"
"Unlike every other book, you cannot remove elements of this book."
Unfortunately, this is true, as Rowling insisted on stuffing HALLOWS with the payoffs to every single mystery introduced in the books, in true detective-story fashion, where a better writer might have parcelled out the reveals more effectively throughout the series. HALLOWS had its moments as I was reading it, but looking back on it, it boils down to a rather wearying series of A-HA DO YOU SEE moments. |
