| So I'm stuck. I'm designing costumes for a production of "The Magic Flute", which is apparently heavy in Masonic symbolism, but I can't find any sources for Masonic symbolism. I understand that there is an Isis/Osiris, light/dark contrast, and a sense of the importance of knowledge, but otherwise I am stuck. Does anyone have any basic information about the Masonic Order and the symbols prevalent in their rites? I'm not looking for any specific information that would violate any trust. |
