Lot of different arguments going on at the moment, lot of problems. That's great and all, but threads are being hurt by these problems.
Basically this is the place where people can come and air disagrements in public - that's more entertaining then PM's right? So the next time you, and when I say you I obviously don't mean anyone in particular, say something stupid, or mean, whatever, in a thread, a person who has a problem with it can simply say the words Argument Thread, and by taking the argument out of the thread in question, stop turning interesting threads into Metaphorical dick measuring contests.
So yeah, if you are involved, or see, an argument derailing an interesting thread, please step in and send the kind gentlefolk here, and they can do it in the comfort of policy. WIth us all on the sidelines braying for blood.
Some small rules;
1)This thread is to resolve, not continue, arguments, so please think of it more like a gentle talk over a cup of coffee then a glassing in your local spit and sawdust bar.
2) What happens in the argument thread stays in the argument thread - so no quoting it elsewhere to have a go in another thread.
3) No shirts, no shoes. |
