I posted it here, since both writers are better known for their comics work, but mods feel free to put in into the books forum, if you think that´s more appropriate, since it´s about a novel.

Who would have thought? After all those rumours, that these two guys are more in a competitive mood towards each other, they now surprise their readers by working as a team.
"I was really fed up with Neil Gaiman´s success as a novelist", says Grant Morrison, "so I called up Alan, and he was up for it." "As long as they don´t turn it into a movie again", said Alan chuckling. "Yes, Grant and me bounced a lot of nice ideas at each other during that talk, and our publishers are already quite excited."
The buzz is, it´s going to be in the same vein as Gaiman´s and Pratchett´s book Good Omens but with a magical twist. "That worked very good for our graphic novels, so we expect to finally be recognized by the serious critics, too" says Moore. "After all, Grant and me got a 30 years of magical experience between us."
So far, there was no reaction from Neil Gaiman, a longtime colleague of his fellow British comics collaborateurs. |
