Haus, I'm sure she'd be great around here, as long as nobody lets her loose in the Temple or Head Shop. It was really charming, though, it was as though I was seven years old again and I'd just said that the entire nation of France had turned into bees and were going to eat us all. I'm glad Lordi won. The difference between them and their competition is the difference between old 2000AD and new 2000AD.

I, too, find Lordi's victory rather... reassuring.

Daz was icky, I agree. It doesn't help that my housemate claimed he looks very much like some real, known paedophile (I'm not up to speed on my UK popular culture here). The German one was a bit depressing, being neither a) sung by a German nor b) actually Country & Western as advertised nor c) any good.

But what about the Lithuanian entry? I was quite impressed by that...
