In the secret fora, can we please get rid of the randomised color changes now? With the colors just cycling through the same colors used elsewhere on the boards, people often don't know if they're posting in one of the secret fora or in, say, Temple or Convo. I know I posted a thread to Convo which I meant to post to Sex & Body not too long ago. And now everyone knows about the secret fora anyway, even if they can't see them.

Haus, I think you made back $500... weren't you saying someone would leak the secret fora to the noobs within six months? IIRC, it's only been four.

What background do you folks want to settle on for the secret fora?

Yeah, the colour-changes were never a good idea. I still say that the secret fora should have a black background (think black ops ect) and coloured text--red for the Armoury and pink for Sex and Body, maybe?

Also, could somebody move the thread on paintballing from the Armoury to G&G. I don't care what happened on Byker Grove, a paintball gun is sill not a proper weapon.

Mordant, I thought this one had been done to death (scuse pun)! if you refer to my thread on improvised weapons, you will see all the basic argument covered - that in the right hands anything can become a deadly implement. To quote myself – “nunchakas were simply rice flails back in ancient China .. anything you can pick up can become a weapon”. Have a look at the screenshots on page two - (the ones from CCTV) and you can see Gypsy Lantern defending himself with silat based techniques using a packet of Rich Tea digestives. I dread to think what would have happened to those guys if he’d had anything like a firearm!

I'm happy with that. Lets not forgot its "pretend firearm" qualities though - could be useful in facing down a threat.

Looking at those screenshots again, I'm very impressed with another use of the digestives - crumbs in the eyes as a distraction manoeuvere, before whipping into a triangle choke with the packet across the windpipe. Masterful.

Although actually the pics of erotic body art done with paintball are quite nice.

I mean, I don't mind it; it's just considerable threaddrift. I notice that the Armoury gets held to a higher standard of on-topicness and I'm wondering what's up with that, since I notice Armoury and Sex&Body have a lot of the same mods.

I was wondering about them – I’m not entirely comfortable with them because they must have caused such extreme pain – paintballs pack a hellvua wallop. I mean, yeah, it was made clear this is part of the play – but the bruising is incredibly – that’s not purple paint on his thigh. Are we really comfortable with this hosting these sort of images?

As to the ontopicness, of the fora, I think this is a bit of an illusion. Such that it is, I blame that solely on those army guys – very discplined. I really wish they’d start posting elsewhere on the board.

Ill, I'm not sure why you felt that way about the paintball pics and not about the singletail thread... unless it's just that you didn't say anything then. Are you worried about potential discomfort for the squeamish, because I thought that was why we made the fora invisible in the first place? Or is it liability? I thought as far as that goes we're in the clear so long as the images are hosted off-site.

Oh, and cheers, Haus; don't know why I didn't think of that myself. That would explain the post lag and excessive typos as well, I suppose.

MODS, this is like totally fucking urgent. The Armoury Forums has contracted lycanthropy. Last night during the full moon it just fucking changed to the Fluffy Animals forum. It was all fluffy and kitteny and puppyish and everything.
