When you have a double-helping of boredom I reckon it can lead to some funny stuff sometimes. Heard a few minutes ago, inspiring this thread:

Grant: Cup of tea, mate?
Dave: Yeah, go ahead, no extras
Grant: Tsk tsk, don't offer to get them yourself, like
Dave: Yaa maa offered last night
Sean: Haha, what's that?
Grant: He's trying to fit yaa maa into every conversation
Dave: Yaa maa fits it into every conversation
Sean: Sounds like something you'd say in school
Grant: Haha, sure no extras, Dave? No spit? I could brew some up
Dave: Teaboy's revenge?

Try this one on for size then. 'Tis a fair accouting of a converstation betwixt myself and the Senior Graphic Designer (my boss) in the office today. Around 3ish.

He: [looking at a print of our Fool's 'Burning Blossom' that I have pinned to a tackboard next to my G5] "Hey, are those magic mushrooms at the bottom there?"

Me: "Um...yeah, I think they are. I hadn't noticed that before."

He: "Have you DONE mushrooms?"

Me: "Um...yeah, once."

He: "I've done A LOT of 'em. Better than acid, I think."

This is my second week at this place. I think I'm going to like it there.
