Just talking about this elsewhere today -
My sister lived at a resort in Thailand for a while, and was making extra money copyediting for this Canadian woman who was writing a book on alternative therapies, including rei ki.
So, along with cash money, my sister got the rei ki training/alignment as part of the deal.
During the alignment, suddenly, this woman (who didn't know my sister very well) said, "Oh, there's a spirit here who's very funny. She knows you."
And goes on, laughing, to say the spirit's name was "Phyllis" or "Phylma" and had a great sense of humor, da da da.
Well, our grandmother's name was Phyllis, but she hated that name ("It sounds like "SYPH-ilis," she'd say) so she went by Phylma.
My sister, as I understand it, was lying down and not offering much information - this wasn't a "cold reading" by any means, and wasn't even supposed to be a channeling exercise.
My grandmother's big message from beyond: "Tell your father he needs to lose weight. He's getting a bit heavy, isn't he."
Typical. |
