the last lucid dream I had started as a normal dream, with me aware I was dreaming, but unable to do anything. After a bit of concentrating, I realised there was some kind of stretchy membrane over my head/body, and I raised my head and pushed through it, into a full lucid dream.
After I lost lucidity, I was still aware that I was dreaming, but I'd fallen back through the membrane and, despite trying for some time, couldn't get my head/mind back through it, so I gave up with a sigh and watched the dream unfold.
So, yes.
In my case, I think it was due to weed and opiate abuse the weekend before, because up til that point I'd been abstaining from intoxicants, and my dreams had been becoming more frequently lucid for longer, but that was the beginning of the end, and I've not been able to do it anytime since. |
