Fishin' for luckies on the seas of the interweb

The internet is a strange and terrible thing.

Many an essay have I penned at the very slowest of paces due to time wasted pottering across the interweb.

YET there are great things to be found. Indeed, it was here that I first stumbled across this fair page (where else would I find it?) and it was whilst a-wandering that I have uncovered some of my favouritest bands evah evah etc

My current faves are-

The Headless Hearsemen

Without the interweb how would we stumble across such precious gems?

My question is, what are the finest musical obscurities to have been dug up by other barbeloids?
Is this the mere tip of the iceberg?

What do they sound like, Mick? Can I download any tracks from their site (I couldn't see any links).

Yeah, there's a bunch of tracks up there you can stream...um, I think you can even if you're not, as I am, a member.

There's a great cover of "faces green and purple" up there.

Yeah, but do they cover "Faces Green and Purple"?

That's the kind of information I really need.

That number by The Bees off the first Nuggets album...?

Man, anyone who does a cover of that is ok in my book! Utterly deranged record..

Well, not dug up by me, but if you want site that combines rarity with frightening degrees of both hipness and obsession, go check out www.woebot.com

Quite right, Lord Savage.
Not only did I post 3 times, but each was rife with squamous (guess who's been digging on Lovecraft!) layers of mis-truth.

Is there some sort of Lith' version of scarifying I can undergo- ass candling, perhaps?
