If you stop in Winnipeg, there's about three Barbeloids living there, including little ol' me. We can have a drink at one of our few pubs (which excludes one Barbeloid by age restriction) or at one of the trendy "clubs" (yeaahhh... NO)

For a while I thought that this thread would die a painful death as Canadians seem to treat this as the forbidden forum.

Winnipeg is on my list of places to visit. Halifax is a maybe depending on time. It would add a couple of days to the trip to roll down there from Caribou before schlepping up to Sydney.

Hey, this is convenient. I'll be headed up north sometime this summer to take advantage of the drinking age, and I'd love some decent company.
I'll probably be headed to Montreal, so you Winnipeg dwellers probably won't want to make the journey.
