Did anyone catch the moon last night?

It was the brightest and closest full moon of the year last night. I jacked my roommates' telescope and set it up. I live at a good elevation and it was a clear night, so even with pretty cheap equipment, you could see the roughness of the perimeter, and just how far the scars of some of the impact blasts ran. I know this sounds like it belongs in the conversation, but the experience was very moving and included much howling; so I was wondering if anyone else shared it with me.

Yeah, I was kind of worshipping it as I walked across the South Street Bridge on my way home from work last night. It was big, bright, and hanging just above the cityscape at the time. Quite lovely.

The wind howled like a Banshee all night around my house. I haven't slept right in 2 days, yet am full of energy. Yea, I noticed. I don't usually get a choice in the matter

Not only was it beautiful and close to the Earth, it was also quite powerful.Yesterday's full moon coincided with two crucial events in my immediate situation:

– a big, fat, completely unexpected but needed bonu$ check from my boss at Job #1

– the news that my heinous upstairs neighbors are finally moving out

Life is good.

Yarr! Love the moon! By coincidence (haha) I almost posted yesterdays "uncool thing I did with magick" as:

I watched the big bright moon slide across the sky.

But then I thought, nah, that is actually a real. cool. thing. to do with magick, so I wrote something about my shoes instead...

Aroooooo! Back atcha' oh one of perpetual fire! Juiced by that for sure!

PS: Telescopes--they're not merely for science geeks anymore!

I enjoyed it very much, because it was the first night in a week that I slept well, and I felt very well when I woke up, still bathed by the light of the moon.

It was truly spectacular. I had been watching this one for some time as it moved towards fullness. I admired it and meditated on it for quite some time....and I'm sure its energy is helping me in my goals.

Brightest full moon of the year? .. fuck! I missed it.

I find it's difficult to really get a trace on the ol' tides of the moon when living in an urban area but rest assured if it had come while I was at home in the scary ol' countryside I would have been prancing around the fields like a loon enjoying it.
