So, I often meditate lying down. I know this a no-no in many peoples' books, due to the ease of falling asleep, but I find the drifting in and out of sleep/meditative state to be really interesting. There's a certain level of consciousness I reach often after immediately drifting out when I feel entirely awake, yet my mind is pristinely clear, and my body feels still asleep. Does anyone have any insight into these levels, or any types of practices that fit with certain levels? |
