"It rubs the lotion on its skin"

This is just far too odd to pass up-

"It rubs the lotion on it's skin"

Am I alone in finding the whole thing a little more funky than disturbing?

No, you're not alone... Precious.

Seriously though, I quite liked that tune, especially the singer's voice and the chorus melody. Stylistically the tune reminds me of something else, (as most things do) but I can't quite place my finger on it.

Thanks for the link, Mick.

It reminds me of one of my friends in college, who adopted the main line of the chorus as his catchphrase for a short while. I'm unconvinced as to whether it's a way of using humour or irony to distance oneself from the content of the movie (which is admittedly pretty silly in places) or a safe means of allowing oneself to wear the mask of the serial killer so that we can vicariously live out their thrills, or both, or neither.

Either way, it's the people who kill people and make suits from their skins who are the real heroes.

It's very Talking Heads I think, particularly the very dry delivery.

Bull's Eye! Nice one, Mick. Talking Heads, with (perhaps) a hint of Jeff Buckley warbling?

If you like that video, you´re going to like this:

The Silence of the Lambs Musical

That´s right, the musical! These songs are hilarious. I once found the link somewhere here on Barbelith. You can download those eight songs for free. They get better everytime you hear them. I eshpecially like the Agent Shtarling shinger shinging.

And the chorus on We're Goin' In: "there´s noone here, there´s noone here!"

I probably shouldn't be laughing, but I am (but then, I am quite childish, so...) Track 2 in particular made me cry, e.g. "I want to see a tree!"

this may be the greatest song about serial killing since that Aeisha song by Death in Vegas and Iggy Pop.

Some questions: What's the name of the and, where can I find more information about the band, and where can I buy merchandise about the band?

Math, the band are Greenskeepers, and the track's called 'Lotion'. You can get it on iTunes.
