Yeah. The tragedy of the story's so touching- the way it goes from girl and mother living tgether, to the girl getting her "taste of honey"- freedom- but it all comes crashing back down and they end up where they started.
The mother's particularly good in the film- totally abusive onem inute and then entirely vulnerable the next. Particularly liked it when Geoff started giving her a talking to. |
