The implied contrast between the grainy black and white footage and how things would (presumably!11!) have looked to the subjects of the experiment is, y'know, fairly amusing.
(It's a hoax though, innit? The troops, even allowing for the effects of teh drug, seem a bit too relaxed for the late Fifties... Well, it's either that anyway, or it's high time LSD came back into fashion with the yout' - if nothing else, this'd mean no more Pete Doherty albums in the Top Ten, the kids would turn their backs on him, they'd just sigh and walk away.) |
