Hmmm... hard to tell how much to trust these pre-release footage shots. They do look damn impressive, though, but I'll hold fire until I actually see the thing in action.

Incidentally, could we try not to start threads with just a link without comment? They don't really do a lot to inspire discussion, which I imagine you would like to have.

The only thing that didn't look prerendered I just played this morning on my 360 and it looked hell of sweeter: Fight Night Round 3. That being said, when it finally does roll around to PS3 it'll probably look just as good if not better.

My point? The future is now already. Rejoice.

Well I know the footage from the FPS was Unreal Tournament 2007, and that is gameplay footage. The clips of the soldiers in the bleak warzone is also in-game footage, but I forget the name of the game. Killzone, I think. My roommate has seen the demo reel for it.

You got a source for the claim that Killzone footage is in-game? Last I heard it was a target demo, an indication of what they expect the PS3 to be able to produce. As were a lot/all of the clips shown at last year's E3, which that vid appears to simply regurgitate.

Yeah I just looked into the Killzone footage and that's my bad, me thinks. It is the same footage from E3.

There has been UT07 footage floating around, too, but that may very well be game footage from a decked-out gaming PC… though I know the new Unreal engine is pretty slick, and have seen some footage from other games utilising it. They all look similar in quality, Huxley in particular. The others I cannot verify.
