Yes, sorry about that… Guadalajara is the second or third bigger city in Mexico, and not the most vanguardist or liberal. There is a tianguis, an open air market, set nearby downtown, in which many subcultural groups get together to buy and sell their specialized goods. Goths, Anarcopunks, ravers, (neo)hippies, and “fresitas” (high class youngsters) are together without having troubles. My objective is to register the most notable examples of how they dress, trying to focus in the most original and/or syncretic. |
