Folk Magick?

Are there any good resources on folk magick? The only book I've been able to find on the subject is "American Folk Magick" by Silver Ravenwolf. Has anybody here read this book? If so, are her facts straight or does she just make stuff up?

Silver Ravenwolf does not rank high among people I would say are to be trusted.

But, hey, I'm not Wiccan so I don't read much of her shit anyway, so I'm not an expert.

What kind of Folk Magic are you interested in? There are all kinds after all. Hoodoo in the USA is probably one of the most interesting. I think _Voodoo and Hoodoo_ by Jim Haskins is a pretty good book, and I'm sure others can supply more.

This link on Amazon.com even has an excerpt from the book on it.

I read "To Ride A Silver Broomstick" back when I was 13 or so, not exactly what I'd call the best book, but a great deal better than DJ Conway since she writes the same book over and over, she just replaces deity names and other words.

I'm just interested in folk magick in general, not any specific type, but if the information people supply is about one type or another, I'm not going to complain.
