How does Antero Alli's Angel Tech compare to RAW's Prometheus Rising? After being hard to find for the past few years, it looks like AT is back in print. I've not read it, but am interested -- as long as it isn't a regurgitation of the same info RAW delivered in Prometheus Rising. Just glancing at the book's contents and readers' comments, though, it looks like Angel Tech offers more hands-on experience?

i used to love angel tech. it does have more specific exercises, like them or not, it also fleshes its basic concepts out a lot more, goes into much more depth about esoteric ideas and doesn't spend as much time arguing how by the year 2000 we would be immortal, living in Utopia. it does have more substance than Prometheus Rising. Both cool books though that give me more than a little nostalgia to recall.

buttergun, how did you know that the book was being reprinted? I've checked the New Falcon website (http://www.newfalcon.com/) who have published Angel Tech previously, and they still list it as out-of-stock.

Amazon.co.uk and several other places I've tried have also sold out. Any ideas of where I could pick up a copy?

TIA

Amazon.com (US site) has it listed as in-stock and ready to ship, and for cheap, too! Though since New Falcon has it listed as out of print, maybe Amazon's listing is incorrect. That sucks...

I bought a new copy at my local occulty-type bookstore (Field's) last year, and have seen copies in other places. I suspect that Amazon's website is more up-to-date than New Falcon (Amazon being the devil and all...).

Heyheyhey, it might be the 'Devil' and all, but it just got me DJ TeeBee's album for about 6 quid, so it still has it's uses.

Angel Tech though, yeah I've been wanting to get that book for a while now, and remember having problems tracking it down myself. Luckily, Illmatic helped me out and I still have the name of the bookshop in my head.......yeah, I've just found a load :

They might not be new versions, but there's still a good few there.
