I can't be the only one about to head back into regular work/education after christmas at about this time, and no doubt other people have already done so. How are we all feeling about this?

Me, I'm glad. Not only does the restricted "free time"- bit of a misnomer, as Uni work is hardly backbreaking- make watching Dr Who seem more vital, it gives me something to do- or more accurately, people to do it with. Having a shitload of stuff to get done for deadline isn't half as bad when you've got people t ocomplain about it to and swap notes.

With you there, Legba. My hometown is pretty boring especially as other people head back to school, so I'm going back to university a week early. Sure there won't be anybody around but I have to move my stuff into my house/set up my room which will take at least a day and people will start arriving shortly thereafter, plus it's a change of scenery. Can't wait for classes to start though.

I fell asleep into a chicken Jhalfrezhi once, head first. It was quite horrific. My eyes were yellow with turmeric and strung with red beaded fishing lines of pain.

I was back at work on Boxing Day. Now I'm off again (I do 7 nights on, 7 off) but still recovering from Christmas and New Year so I've been pretty much sleeping through it. And back again on Monday, having done NOTHING with my time off.
