Hi, Keg! Glad you started this thread. I was just about to post on the other one, stating that if we couldn't get together prior to New Year's, we should definitely get together in the first week of Jan at our local watering hole.
Anyhow, count me in. I would prefer if we could do a late afternoon or early evening show. Afterwards, we could adjourn to Hurley's for some booze and some snacks.
I am in. So is the boy. I will be bringing some other friends of mine.
Which time is good for everyone? I think an afternoon show will allow those preparing for evening festivities the time to do so. My vote is for the 1:50pm show. Not too early, not too late.
Originally, I was aiming for a early evening show, but now I've got plans for that time. So the 1:50 showing works for me afterall. Are we going for drinks afterwards? Cause if we are, then we may encounter problems cause the pubs and bars won't allow minors, which Strix's son obviously is. If we're not doing the booze thang, that's okay too. I'll just have some beers with my lunch .
I wasn't worried. I was just pointing out that there will be a minor in the group, and therefore we have to take that into consideration. If you'd like to come for drinks afterwards, we can go to a restaurant that serves alcohol. You can order a kiddie meal and some fruit juice for your boy while the rest of us move on to the harder stuff.
Pooky, thank you for thinking about us. I understand that sometimes I can't be a part of everything since I have other obligations. I just don't impose my restrictions on everybody.
I am not sure how long we will want to stay afterwards, anyway.
