Probably a Heffe dark beer to start, followed by some good wines with Christmas Eve dinner, then plenty of restorative glasses of good single malts from my Dad's whiskey collection.

Slippery Nipple is as follows - white sambuca into a shot glass, leaving about 2 or 3cms of space at the top. Then gently, so it settles on top, add baileys = drink.

Red wines = there is a fantastic cotes du rhone something de pape wine at sainsbury's at the moment, on special, oh and a rjoika (you know what I mean) also on special.

Will probably end up choking down some of what my family calls "Czech moonshine". Cannot remember what its called, but its made from plums (well...mostly plums) and can double for oven cleanser.

Bastarding nothing, due to requiring antibiotics over Christmas due to a tonsillitis infection. Well, it was either tonsillitis or I went to visit family in the Land of the Melty Walls and Rapidly Oscillating Temperature. However, I will be going to see my beautiful girlfriend over New Year, so I'll have to see if I can rustle up a bottle of absinthe over which we can louch and be louche. Yes. Green Fairy for me.
