There's a meditation/practice I've tried for opening/closing the third eye, with I think some success.
Hard to explain, but I sit in my basement with all the lights out. In an adjoining room, separated by a closed door, may be a lit candle or two, all other lights out.
I sit in the room without the candles with eyes closed, and try to open the third. It's almost like lifting a film or curtain away. If/when I start getting impressions of the candle in the other room, I feel I'm making progress. I've had people shift the candle on me to see if I could pick up on it's new location, with some success.
Anyone have any other methods? |
