'Danny la Rue'; oh God, I totally never got that.

It's a spot-on comparison between Rogan and Vima, though, he's right.

Cheers Yawno - I've only ever read 1 interview with the Godhead before. Always good to have more.

Deadline actcherley. Early issue i think, with the old-school logo. Not as enlightening as this one though. When the fook is someone a) going to republish Rogan Gosh
and b) Reprint Swifty's Return?

Duncan- I only got the joke fairly recently, despite the Danny issues having been my favourites (except the Beard Hunter, obviously).

Rogan Gosh was reprinted by Vertigo around 1993...

And is, in my experience, COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE to find. I'm not even sure it exists.

Sorry. /threadrot

It's definitely hard to track down these days... but back in the mid-90s it seemed like we were drowning in Rogan Gosh... I am given to understand that it occasionally turns up on various bittorrents tho...

I actually found it completely by random one day. Dove on it immediately; Rogan Gosh! I have to say I was enjoyed it, but it struck a lot of similar cords with Flex Mentallo, even if the overall ideas were completely different.

RG was ace. It totally needs to be collected. Proof, if proof be need be, that Pete Milligan is actually two different people. The one who wrote Rogan Gosh is the genius of the two. The one that did those terrible X-Men is clearly not.

McCarthy's art's lovely, and the story is such a wonderful thing to hang it from- it's been a while, but as I remember it's fucked enough to let McC go totally nuts with it, but hangs together just enough to give those lovely pictures some context.
