Rightness or wrongness was never the point, Petey. The aim here, as one's thinking evolves with time, is not to simply exchange one adolescent sense of superiority for another.
The point is that, whatever Ender's conclusions, right or wrong, he was thinking and considering and axamining—not blind, not asleep, not a zombie or a moron or whichever farm animal you choose to use as a metaphor for the notional mindless conformist.
That's what you disputed: that's what I corrected, and forcibly dragging Donald Rumsfeld (?) into it doesn't change a thing. The absolute rightness or wrongness of anyone's conclusions is another discussion entirely. |
