You don't know what you're missing. Several magnitudes funnier than Little Britain ever was, in its ten or so minutes, it's absolutely spot on with the reviews, and so damn passionate. I almost bust a gut watching the Metal Gear sketch a couple of weeks ago. I would encourage everyone to see if they can get torrents of it.
A sample from tonight (from memory): "Aye, the original Half Life, that was the game that got PC gamers standing up out of their piss-stained seats and declaring that games had really arrived for the PC. The piss-stained tubes."

That's really funny. Missed it so far though. When's it on the telly?

Just watched the last episode of it from the BBC site. I'm pretty sure I briefly used to work with the blonde girl from the Devco sketch. Lovely person.

Video Gaiden aye, but The Music Show? What the fucking hell is going on there, then? Exclusive live performances but with a studio recorded version played over the top?
It's really annoying too, as I'd been to the Belle and Sebastian recording and had high hopes for the show based on the Old Grey Whistle Test style they were adopting.

Nice idea pretty badly executed. I'm sure the raucous audience participation of the Fence gig would have been better than the subdued album track last week, for example. It's the way the pixie lady seems to have three expressions each show that she recycles for every introduction that irks me.

I saw the end of VideoGaiden on Friday. Didn't really see enough of it to have an informed decision, but to me it seemed to suffer slightly from an attempt to be overly anarchic & "yoof" but that's par for the course with gaming shows, and it seemed to be doing so with a fair amount of wit.
*thread rotting aside* If the pixie lady (nice term btw) is the one I think, she was "discovered" in the coffe shop round the corner from my flat. *End threadrot*
