IQ Puzzle

I don't know how many people have seen this already, but I got it in an email today and it was rather diverting:

This is supposed to be a test used by some employers in Japan to test an applicant's IQ. Pass the test, get the job.

Everybody has to cross the river. The following rules apply (in case you don't read Japanese):

1: Only 2 people on the raft at a time.

2: The Father cannot stay with any of the Daughters without their Mother's presence.

3: The Mother cannot stay with any of the Sons without their Father's presence.

4: The Criminal (Striped shirt) cannot stay with any family member if the Policeman is not there.

5: Only the Father, the Mother and the Policeman know how to operate the raft.

To move the people click on them.
To move the raft click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.
To start, click on the big blue circle on the right of the site.

Start.

Oh gods... I did this one a while ago. It took me an hour to figure it out, which I did almost by accident.

It does have a solution, though.

Mon Oncle Ignatius

Yep, did it. The solution is pretty logical, as you would expect.

Got it, I got that bastard solved before I go home. Truely this has been a productive afternoon in the lab.

It took a little while, but I got it.

it is quite easy once you get logical.
one might wonder why you would approach it any other way, i suppose.
i did, and i think that might make me a muppet.

Ah yes. It's strangely satisfying knowing that you have what it takes to be employed by a Japanese company.

That was fun, I just wish Korean's would learn to swim at an earlier age. (I'm sure at least some have gills after the first storm season)

Who needs a raft? That river didn't look that deep anyway...

I kind of thought the mum was quite hot, but I just put that down to being tired. The crim has the best facial expression, though.

I did it! When do I start?

I dug the crim, mainly for the red hair.
