Hey everyone.

For those who don't know Hunting Lodge, we're a sleazy mess of a party band with diseased vocals, violent bass and bits of MIA and Happy Hardcore in the drums. Most of our songs are about nature in some way, not that you'll be able to tell. You can hear us here.

We're playing the following dates around England at the end of this month and start of December:

SUN 4th Dec - Tour Date. Freebutt, Brighton. With My Way My Love and Mugstar. 4 pounds.

SAT 3rd Dec - Album (pre)Launch Party. At the Louisiana, Bristol. With My Way My Love and Mugstar. 4 pounds.

FRI 2nd Dec - The Spice of Life, Soho, London. w/ Mugstar.

THU 1st Dec - The Qubar, Margate. w/ Mugstar.

SUN 27th Nov - Bletchley Leisure Centre, Milton Keynes. w/ Trencher and the Optimist Club..

SAT 26th Nov - the umpire, 25a Belfast Rd., London N16 (near to stoke newington sation) starts 10.30pm(ish) till 6/7am 5 QUID to get in. also playing will be the fabulous NOUGHT aswell as other bands and djs.

THU 24th Nov - The Studio, Hartlepool. w/ Fabulous Blondes and Radio Mast.

WED 23rd Nov - The Original 4 Club, Leicester. With The Optimist Club and Meet Me in St. Louis.

TUE 22nd Nov - Bar Fresa, Liverpool.

MON 21st Nov - The Joiners, St Mary's St. With Melt Banana, Big Joan and Sodding Wolf's Head. 9 pounds. www.seetickets.com

It would be hella cool to see as many of you as possible from parts of the country that I rarely visit. The Melt Banana date and the album lanch party are both going to be terrifyingly good and shouldn't be missed by anyone in their right minds. The line up for both nights is blinding.

Plus we've got the following two dates in January:

SAT 21st JAN - Leeds. Venue tbc. w/ Unicorn Love.

TUE 10TH JAN - Derby. Venue tbc.

Much more details at our website.

Now, we're playing the Umpire in London on Saturday 26th November... can anyone in the vicinity offer a tired sweaty band a place to crash? We're very well mannered. Floorspace is fine...

Seth
22:33 / 09.11.05
To anyone who can give us crash space in London for the 26th: you'll get free entry plus one to the gig.

Tezcatlipoca
19:43 / 12.11.05
Well, that's Sunday the 4th booked up on my calendar then...

...it'll be grand to see you again, my dear sir, even if it will be from a distance. Over a sea of heads. In poor lighting.

Seth
07:09 / 15.11.05
You can come onstage and dance with me if you want to get closer, Tez.

Very much looking forward to seeing you. Been far too long.

lord nuneaton savage
09:39 / 15.11.05
Yip, I'll be there on the fourth. Looking forward to seeing the mighty Lodge in action.

Axolotl
10:42 / 15.11.05
Any chance of you ever making it north of the border Seth?

Seth
23:40 / 15.11.05
Well, I'm going to visit my Mum in Ullapool in December but I'm not sure that's what you mean...

I'd love to gig in Glasgow. Do you have any contacts thereabouts?

Seth
00:17 / 18.11.05
Liverpool is cancelled now, sadly.

Char Aina
04:21 / 18.11.05
what contacts do you need?
punks be enough?
or do you need the email/number of a promoter?
or maybe a venue?
i would love to see you guys play.

tell me what it is we need here and i will see what i can do.
because,dude, i know people.
(if i dont say who it makes it sound cooler, dont you think?)

Char Aina
04:29 / 18.11.05
oh, and the when.
shortly after the leeds gig?

Seth
07:36 / 18.11.05
Contacts-wise we need to be in touch with people who are involved in putting on the kind of bill where we wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. The easiest way to define that kind of bill would be to think ATP, although we can kinda survive with a punk, hardcore or metal line-up as long as they're not too purist. Taste, enthusiasm and principles are all preferred, particularly the last one. And given that it's a lot of driving we probably need a few more gigs on consecutive nights to make it worth the travelling.

Bill Posters
11:30 / 18.11.05
hmm, i am far more likely to make it to the Soho gig than the all-nighter in Stokey... time will tell.

12:11 / 18.11.05
Me too - that weekend if hella busy and I suspect comes just before payday for me, but the Soho date looks promising.

Char Aina
12:43 / 18.11.05
PMs.
you have them.

Seth
03:25 / 19.11.05
The 26th is no longer at the Umpire.

We're actually playing two gigs that night now.

The first is at the Camden Barfly (hooray!).

The second is still in Stoke Newington, venue TBC, and I've heard it's some kind of big party where the music of choice will mainly be techno (bigger hooray). More on this when I know more.

Come to both, colleagues.

Stokey's tempting but Brighton's likely. Hurrah, can't wait.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
23:08 / 22.11.05
They were wicked in Southampton last night.

07:45 / 23.11.05
Bollox, I forgot that Burning Idiot Noise have a gig on the same night in Brighton. Sorry dude. Hope it goes well.

I dunno, you wait months for a decent gig...

Seth
11:02 / 23.11.05
Stokie's cancelled. We're still playing the Camden Barfly that night though.

08:11 / 24.11.05
Will come if I can.

Seth
09:18 / 30.11.05
Londoners and Brightoners assemble!

I'd like to see as many of you as possible at the Spice of Life and Freebutt.

It has been many moons since our paths crossed.

And I think our album should be there, too.

I should have my copy in my hands tomorrow.

I am beyond excited. XX

Seth
10:13 / 30.11.05
It's confirmed.

Our album will definitely be available at these dates.

Clapping my hands with glee!

Seven quid to you, sir.

Bargain!

ONLY NICE THINGS
10:30 / 30.11.05
Please tell me that Unicorn Love are a band of twelve-year-old girls who sing primarily about how bitchin' it would be to have a pony.

Please.

Spice of Life if at all possible.

Seth
10:43 / 30.11.05
I have no idea, but the name is fantastic. In the Dr Who sense of the word.

illmatic
07:54 / 01.12.05
Will be at the Spice, dude. It's been for too long.

Gypsy Lantern
07:58 / 01.12.05
I'll be there, for sure

Regrettable Juvenilia
14:01 / 01.12.05
Me too. We should make this the London Album Release Party, or LARP for short.

Gypsy Lantern
08:39 / 02.12.05
This is tonight isn't it? What time are people getting there? I work just by Soho and finish at about 5:30pm. Anyone going to be there around 6ish? Are people going direct to the venue or having a drink somewhere else first?

illmatic
10:03 / 02.12.05
Meeting a friend in THe Blue Posts, 6ish. Welcome to join us.

Goodness Gracious Meme
11:10 / 02.12.05
arse arse arse. Parental visit promised. gaaaaaaah.

Regrettable Juvenilia
13:54 / 02.12.05
I'll be around 6ish - spoke to Seth about a drink beforehand so whether I come to the Blue Posts depends on whether he can make it that far or wants to meet at the venue...

Bear
14:08 / 02.12.05
I'll get there around 7.30 depends on train etc... I don't want to sound like your Granny but do remember to keep an eye on your bags/jackets, it was in the Spice of Life that Chloe got her bag stolen and apparently it happens all the time, especially on Big Rockin nights which I'm sure this will be...

Regrettable Juvenilia
14:49 / 02.12.05
Okay, think I'm going to be at the Blue Posts 6-6.30ish, then move to the venue 7-7.30ish to catch Seth for a pint before the gig.

STOMP STOMP CRUSH DESTROY.

Seth
10:40 / 04.12.05
Allo all. We're second on the bill tonight, which means the Lodge are on at the relatively early time of eight/half eight.

On the bill after us are the brutally brilliant Mugstar from Liverpool (heavy bludgeoning repetitive krautness) and My Way My Love from Japan (big slabs of enthusiastic Sonic Youth, hella cool bassist and a zombie drummer with a broken neck).

I'm a crosspatch that our set will probably be on at the same time as Mr Nuneaton's, so I doubt I'll be able to get to his...

lord nuneaton savage
07:50 / 07.12.05
Sorry we couldn't hook up there Seth. Hope that the gig went well for you, I heard some very good things about it.
