Can you get a wireless card for a desktop?

Hi everyone. Jack Denfeld here. I don't understand computers. You know those wireless internet cards for laptops? Do they make those for desktops? Is there even a spot on a desktop you can slide a card in? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Desktops don't usually have a PCMCIA slot, which is what you need for the wireless cards that laptops use, so not really.

However, if you've got a desktop you can just buy an internal wireless card, which would be cheapest though you'd have to open the tower up. Or you can buy a USB wireless adaptor which is the simplest thing to do.
