Sunny bloody day! Who's up for a pint?

Yeah, it's hot here too. Quite strange - a few days ago it felt like winter had descended for good, and now it's summer again.

I hate it! It's all wrong! It should be chilly by now.

It was so hot I had to carry my jacket today. It would be all wrinkled if it wasn't (weren't?) made of vinyl.

Brits - complaining about the weather?!

Who'd've thunk it?!

You realise this is all because you bought a new scarf, Loomis?

I'm not complaining, really, it's lovely. Just peculiar.

Shit! I just looked out of the window and I'm shocked aswell. The weather has been crap for ages. It's great to see that the clouds have gone.

Yeah, I'm going on a four-day bike ride from this weekend, and had stocked up on waterproof everything. Now it looks like I'll need sunscreen.
Well, ok, maybe not, but it promises to be quite lovely weather for it.

I wouldn't mind it being sunny if only it was chilly as well - but it's not, it's warm and occasionally a bit muggy, and it's nearly November.

And everyone remember to thank Ariadne next week for the massive monsson type conditions we'd have to endure over the weekend because of the above statement.

Although if Loomis went out and purchased many, scarves, perhaps a couple of really chunky jumpers and a duffle coat we may be able to counter this effect...

I did find it difficult to choose a scarf, so maybe I can go back and buy all the others I was considering. I can set up a paypal account for donations from all who want nice weather.

And as for complaining about the weather, my office is the worst for that. The ruddy Scots spend all year whingeing about how we don't get a summer up here, then as soon as the mercury rises above 18 they're all whingeing about how it's roasting in the office.

Too true about the mugginess and humidity...November humidity, whod've guessed?

Madness I tells ya. I'm not complaining though, I prefer it to windy and wet whatever else it may be.

In my defence I never complain about not getting any summer and only ever complain about the weather when a) it is really, truly disgusting or b) infernally hot for the time of year... (including the horrible hot weekends this summer)

Snowed the other night.

It certainly was unexpectedly warm today. Which is good, as I spent the day in various pubs and record shops and forgot to put any money on the gas meter.

You consider 74 degrees to be warm?

When our nights are already below freezing, yes.

You consider 74 degrees to be warm?

Celsius - yes, a tad... Fahrenheit - dunno 'bout that old-money reckoning, myself.

Is this now late enough to qualify as an Indian Autumn?

Pah. Swore a solemn oath never to complain about British weather in 1995 when trapped in DC and every day was filled with humidity, rats and 95F+ heat. I danced in the one rainstorm we had brought by a rather weak hurricane. The rain was almost steam when it finally hit the pavement.
So, no today was nice, even if I didn't catch much of it, but standing on the balcony at work at getting my Vitamin D fix under the Crags was lovely.
The lack of light in the winter? That I allow myself to get angry with.
