Its a long story, I met Uhm Jung Hwa through a friend in 1995 in Korea, He happened to be a music vj at the time for Mnet the Mtv of Korea at that time. I told him she told me See You again after she abruptly left the stage during an interview. When I told him this he got pissed and stopped being my friend. I was a foreign exchange student from UCLA studying at Yonsei. I tried to meet her but he tried to stop me by having his other friends take me to different places while he was meeting her. What he didn't know was she caught on to this and was spying on both of us to see what he was doing. Because he usually read fan letters on air and one fan saw us both that day when we went to eat at subway. I was running low on resources foreign exchange student loans and I had to take out another loan.
My supposed friend was in this movie with the guy who was the main actor in the Korean movie Taeguki and Friend. But at the time they were filming this movie about friend veternarians. Anyways one of the people on the set asked if they could use me as an extra and they could pay me. He knew I was hurting for cash but he told them I wouldn't do it which was not true. Anyways this Canadian guy named Will which I didn't see at the dorm before approached me and asked if I could help him on a movie about a man finding his dreams and the woman he loves. And on the subway to Apujongdong a man approached me if I knew any half Koreans for a movie part. I am half Korean but I couldn't do it on the basis of being in school already. Another assisant teacher approached me for a voice over English speaking cartoon for Korean kids. I got these offers from Uhm Jung Hwa through other friends because my friend when I first met her was bragging about how he would help me which he didn't. At a room karaoke I sang Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton because I like that song because I never met my biological father and it fits me just fine. So later when my friend was spotlighting a hot artist on the countdown show I said how about Uhm Jung Hwa? He agreed and she began to release her single A Love Heaven did not allow. She went all the way to #2 but it began to drop back down.
I began to notice people began to follow me and cars when I started walking towards them would continously back up. Thats when I knew they were spying on me and filming me. Later a friend approached me and asked what I would do if I got alot of money all of a sudden. I said invest in technology and real estate. Later by myself in a room I said out loud seeing vcds before, make laser disk quality disks on a cd size disk. Later I had conversations with other dorm residents from all around the world even some Russians. I told them you know what is scary? The astroid that barely missed the earth, What if it would hit the earth? One resident asked me what whould I do? I said nuke it. This is all true and it has been happening since 1995 at my study at Yonsei. When I got back to the states Deep Impact and Armaggedon were released and dvds were begining to be introduced. I promised Uhm Jung Hwa I would return to her and stay in Korea but IMF happened and I had to return to the states. I was working trying to go back to Korea and the only option I saw which a co worker gave a suggestion was join the military. My military recruiter said to work part time at Technicolor before I join the military. Dvds were just being manufactured but there were no incentives to buy them because they were ordinary. I am a fan of HBO first looks and other things related to film. So in a QA room by myself I said out loud put things like HBO first looks on the dvds so that there is an incentive to buy DVDS over VHS. That was October, 1997 and movies like the Truman show Mulan and Saving Private Ryan were released. So I joined and it is a long story but I bought an Helzberg engagement ring for Uhm Jung Hwa before I went to Korea. Think about wedding rings and rings in media around 1998 and after 1998. Before I said I really liked the movie the Crow but I didn't like the fact that he rises from the grave. It is more interesting that you didn't know he was a ghost. I shared some personal info about myself with Uhm Jung Hwa and now with you reading this, namely how my mother is a decendant of the royal family in Korea and when she was looking for work on a military facility like my aunt, her sister, she went to her husband looking for work but got raped when she was young by him. Anyways when I joined the military they were mentally abusing me with knowledge they know about my mother, her rapist, her brother in law and they were on his side because they didn't want it to be known. Now think about the Crow again and think about Malcome Crowe in the Sixth Sense. Other things began to exchange back and forth with Uhm Jung Hwa's videos, her dance performances,her pictures on the cds and in films in America and in Korea. Its a long long story I have to write it all down in chronological order but that is sort of the jist of it. Think about the Asians in films in Truman show and Spiderman1 and 2, Park Chan Wooks JSA and Old boy, Shiri and in other media. My inspiration was and is for only Uhm Jung Hwa. Believe me if you want to but I know I am right.
