I have sold my sugar-daddy, the television and radio broadcaster J*hn Hu*phr*ys out to the feds. Who will help me hide from his British Broadcasting minions? They have rulers and possibly kitchen knives.

You can't hide from TEH BBC! They have vans that can pinpoint you from hundreds of metres, and journos in flak vests, and the Paxman (he MAKES peace, Equaliser stylee) and the Eastenders and.. well just run, Nina, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

You could easily find somewhere in BBc4 to hide. Nobody ever goes there but me.

No, that's Hugh Laurie. I mean, the Fry guy (so easy to confuse the two, like those Ronnies).

Ah yes, the Super Fry guy. As you say, it's so difficult to tell them apart. In a dark room. On TV.

Have you ever watched Stephen Fry on acid? Weird. or should I say, weirder.

He told me he'd only had "a pair of pints and a few lines of Boutros", but I knew he was acting too strangely for that...

Yeah, and he just thinks you're watching him. He gets like that.

These fiends can be crafty about their vices, so I hear. Especially on BBC4, which is the nothing but bastard daughter of BBC2 after all, and home to all manner of intellectual depravity now Channel 4 has sold out to HBO. You'll see all manner of malarkey in the nether regions of digital TV, I'll wager. Heimat, for example. Ohhhhhh, tut.

Big tut. Heimat hit the rocks when Barbara Windsor was written out. She was inspiring as the wife of the local Gauleiter.

See how ruthless H*mphrys can be when he's disappointed in love, Nina. If I were you I'd be perfecting my Alan Yentob impersonation and trying to blend into an old Arena rerun. He always wore lovely Manolos. Had such dainty little feet. You'd be a shoo-in.
