Just thought I would share the company logo for my landlord type people -

Actually, I charged my company logo as a sigil to promote happiness in whoever sees it. Unfotunately I haven't got my sign yet, so I don't know how effective it's going to be.

I know what you mean. I was looking at the latest Rimmel advert with Kate Moss where she has a mark on her face. Check it out, it looks like a sigil to me. I tested it. R (I) M M (E) L leaves RML. The symbol looks like a combined RML.

isn't a sigil a bit more covert than a logo?

I always thought with a logo the intent of the logo is what is supposed to be conveyed, but with a sigil its the opposite - the intent is planted in the subconscious and forgotten.

but then I suppose that is a logo isn't it?
