I suppose it just depends on your listening habits, really. I've only got about 2000 songs on my 3G 20GB iPod (I've never quite filled it up) and there's stuff I never seem to listen to (but still keep on there, just in case...). My main iTunes library is on a seperate drive at home and I just add/remove to the iPod as I fancy. I've never considered my iPod as a permanent storage place. All of which has got me considering getting a Nano. Having fondled and ogled one, I can confirm that they are indeed very small, beautiful and desirable things. Can't really justify the expense, but, y'know...
So, if you really need to carry as much of your music with you as possible at all times, then go 60GB, but otherwise I'd say you can live quite happily with 6GB (as long as you don't mind updating the contents every now and then). And they really are tiny. |
