I just watched the Pilot last night, and I thought that this show was pretty funny. I haven't made up my mind on whether or not I like Chris O' Donnel, but Adam Goldberg alone is worth watching this show for.

Goldberg is a quirky genius lawyer who suffers from Explosive Disorder.

The Wiki Response: Intermittent explosive disorder (IED) is an uncommon disorder of the brain characterized by explosive outbursts of behaviour (throwing, breaking things, inflicting physical harm on others). It is an impulse control disorder. It is sometimes linked to temporal lobe epilepsy.
Those who do have unprovoked violence associated with the disorder show loss of cells and abnormalities in the left hemisphere of the brain.

I'd bet big money that by this time next year, (if the show lasts), that 10,000 kids are going to be 'diagnosed' with this wild and wacky disorder.

Just give the show a shot, and share your thoughts.

In. America.

Possibly.

Over here, the clinical term for this behavioural presentation is 'being a cunt'.

I love European expressions. Canadians never use that. We call people assholes. We're lame and unoriginal. I'll try to fix that.

I had foolishly hoped Hollywood had moved past these "Gosh, it must be fun to be insane, you get to do whatever you want!" storylines. The 80s and early 90s were were so full of them.

Well, it's official. Canned after two episodes.

Anyone know if that's a record?

Not a record, no. There are a few series that never saw a second episode (such as the legendary Co-Ed Fever that had horrible ratings in a post-Super Bowl timeslot, of all places). I have a vague memory of a Glenn Frey private eye series (South on Sunset?) that also died after one.

I can think of at least two shows that were cancelled before airing, Hollyweird and Manchester Prep, but that probably doesn't count.

Pity.
