| Anyone else seen the pilot for this one? Impressive, if bizarre, casting (Carla Gugino, Peter Dinklage, Brett Spiner, Charles S. Dutton). First half is pretty lousy action fare, but then goes pretty far off the deep end (at least as far as network tv goes) and gets into fun stuff like extradimensional entities and dna resequencing. Pilot is also directed by recent comics-to-film go-to-guy David S. Goyer, for what it's worth. I don't want to get too detail heavy until it airs, but at least the premise is a little more interesting than the other alien invasion shows coming this fall. |
