A tribute ... to Richard

It’s dark as night

I can’t see
can’t feel
can’t smell
can’t breathe

Yet I can Think

Where am I

I can remember a face, a face I love

I can remember a room
A room of wires and machines
A room of life
A room of hope

A death room
An ending room

Or is it a beginning

Wait … I can see, see something
I can see the face I love
I can hear her smile
I can …

I will her to step in to the darkness with me
One step, a small step
Darkness that turns to light

It’s light as day

I can touch light
I can touch the stars
Light as air
Light as thought
Light as life

I can touch my love
Touch her life
Light her life forever
I can …

More of a Creation thread, no?

God, I miss him, too. And his roomful of wires that made that big clock go round.

However, if I'm being insufferably insensitive and someone close to Styx called Richard has indeed died, then perhaps we need just a wee bit more explanation for the thread, huh?

Actually, I was sort of hoping somebody would critisise the poem. I wanted to know what people think about it, if it's crap or slightly good or could be improved on. I posted it on the "Books" part but it got moved.
