Hullo. Uh, bit of a long shot, this one, but I was wondering if anyone had any information or links regarding "Pidgin" or "Creole" languages- those languages used on borders and, for example in parts of S.America/S.Africa, where several other languages get mixed in together?
I've found some preliminary information (in Crystal's Encyclopedia Of language) but what I'm really after is dictionaries or lexicons. I'm sure something like this must exist on the net but haven't found it so far. Anyone? |
