Just listening to some RFTC (Hot Charity/Cut Carefully and Play Loud) and thought I'd give them a Barbelith mash note since it's a lovely Saturday afternoon.
Lyrics that mean nothing but are carefully constructed to be awesome to sing/shout along to...an actual sense of humor...unbelievable hooks ALL THE TIME...and oh sweet Jesus the horns! RFTC, you are the one for me!
When I listen to "Tarzan" or "My Arrow's Aim" I always dance. No matter where I am or what I'm doing. You played the best show I have ever seen in my life (although Sahara Hotnights helped) at the goddamn Metro. Thank you, Rocket From the Crypt. Thank you. |
