There are a few bands that I wouldn't have bothered with if I hadn't heard good reports from this crowd. So thank you, Barbelith Music Forum, for

1. Gorillaz (I loved 'em immediately. Plus it was a good six or seven months before they got big in the States, so I got to be a trendsetter among my group of friends for once. Huzzah!)

2. The Cramps (Voodoo rockabilly? Fuckin' sweet!)

3. The Cure (I wouldn't have taken them seriously if I didn't have Barbelith backing me up)

And there are others, but I can't remember 'em. Thanks anyway, you crazy fucks.

Well, for me it was the Go! Team, my now most favouritest ever band for the moment. Got to see them live in melbourne recently, and the national 'yoof' radio station recorded the gig, so now I have a nice boot of most of that gig, so thankyou barbelith, thankyou so much.
