The Savage Dragon

I’ve been away from the Savage Dragon for a while specifically ever since he went over to that alternate universe. It wasn’t that I didn’t like the story line (I didn’t really read it as I stopped getting the comic) it had more to do with me becoming really broke and needing to cut back. So can some one give me a quick outline of what the hell’s going on?

What happened to Dragon’s kid, to Star, Dart, Powerhouse, the Gods from God World, Vanguard. Who’s the current big bad in the book and who’s that maniacal little red guy hanging out with Dragon’s stepkid?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I gave up when Larsen started using his "24-hour comic" style in his regular book. I mean, fuck, he's got a civilisation run on giant insect power, and all he shows us is a bug traffic jam and some skyscrapers with cobwebs. I wasn't expecting Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind, but jesus fucking magic joseph, I expect the bastard to at least be awake when he's making the book- where were the 40-story termite mounds, the spiderweb suspension bridges, the ant subway, giant bee and wasp nest helipads, billboards for ant bread and royal jelly, lumberjacks riding leafcutter ants, cowboys on ants moving herds of aphids... GAH! Oh well, you knew the high point of the series was when Dragon woke up to find Horridus going down on him like a circus seal, it was all gonna be downhill from there.

The Image Hardcover just came out this week and even though I could care less about Spawn, Shadowhawk, or Cyberforce... the never before seen origin of the Dragon is being told in this collection. Has anyone read it? Can anyone tell me where to get the story for free online?
