Hey folks,

I have a few quick requests, does anyone have any ideas where I could purchase some lead thread? Does such a thing exist? And what is the color of Saturn, black?

Anyone have any suggestions for spells and rituals to bind and/or remove a (romantic) rival?

Okay, Saturn is usually black and I suppose soldering wire might do duty as lead thread. However, I for one take a dim veiw of the kind of thing you're proposing. Can't you think of a way to acheive your aim that's more constructive and less... well, evil?

Remember, these people are your play things! So, just do a love spell for the guy. Get him to fall in love with someone else. 1) if it works then he'd be happy. 2)If it goes wrong like some do...who cares! By then you'd have moved in and gotten the girl!

All you need is love! (you may have to twist it around a bit though)

If they are that much of a rival then maybe the desired person doesn't like you that much anyway? That sounds really harsh, but it might be worth checking out before you go to all the effort of rituals etc.

1st off, thank you for reading and responding to the post; the simple fact that y'all took the time to reply really means a lot to me.

However, I have, by and large, not received the type of feedback I desired. While your interest in my situation is flattering, I think you might have missed the point.

You may not agree with my stated aims in the opening post, and in fact many of you have brought very good points up that, I can assure you, I will consider.

But It is not moralizing I want at this stage. What I want are spells and rites that achieve the aims we have set out in this post.

Vadrice, you suggested I raise my attractiveness, well, send me a glamour. Mordant and impulsive, send me spells to move my rival so we are no longer in his sphere of influence.

I'll evaluate and attempt, within reason, anything you guys send me.

This should be interesting.

Since your final objective is romance (for YOU), perhaps invoking a Venusian vibe might be a better bet for you. She acts more quickly, and is never boring. (Green is a good color for her, or anything pertaining to the Sea.)

Specific spells? Hmmm...I'll have to rack my brain on that one. Love/Love Removal Spells aren't my forté (being Saturnine and all

I'm assuming you're a big boy and know what you're getting into.

For some reason I got a strong suggestion to mention Yemaya to you. Have you worked with Her before? She doesn't seem quite the right person in this case, to me, but I may be missing a piece that you understand.

Perhaps She'll lock your rival in a chest bound with chains and leave him at the bottom of the ocean. It's up to you...

My two cents of Yemaya lore:

Make an offering to her by throwing two (or more) pennies in the ocean.

If you want to up your own seductiveness, you might have to deal with Oshun, who's in the rivers, not the sea. A little less... um... vengeful? tricksy? stern? she is.

Sniffed around my library last night and came up with a candle spell for you. Ideally one would use image candles (male or female, depending on the gender of the parties involved) but if you can't find image candles then use jumbo candles and firmly set in your mind that each candle represents a specific person in the situation.

The two candles that represent the present couple stand on one side of your altar (back to back if they are image candles), while the candle that represents yourself stands on the other side of the altar.

Each day at an hour that's suitable to you – be consistent – light the candles and move the candle representing the desired person towards your candle, leaving the other candle in its place.

Having a big fuckoff lump of rose-quartz around the place never hurts. Use it as your focus for meditation, put it in an important area of your abode (e.g., your bedside table), light candles round it, whatever rubs your rhubarb.

While I think of it... why Saturn? I mean, from a purely moral-free point of veiw that sounds like an "I want to fuck up my rival" spell, which may or may not be the plan but which, I would suggest, should be a secondary objective.

Well, Saturn rules binding, slowing others and destruction, right? So if I want to slow my rival, bind and hinder his attempts on my target, and destroy any hope of him bugging us, Saturn would be apropos.

Just to let you know, I am also working on Venusian magic as well for attraction purposes, but those sort of attraction spells are pretty easy to find. I asked y'all to help me find binding rites because they are harder to find, not because I dismiss the power of attractive magic.

Besides, while it may not be nessary in this case, I can think of plenty of reasons why I might want to fuck up a rival, so it helps to be well armed.
